Privacy Policy

1. Privacy at a Glance

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you.

2. Responsible Party

The party responsible for data processing on this website is: axovend GmbH Am Oberfeld 3 87739 Breitenbrunn (OT Loppenhausen) Germany Phone: +49 (0) 8263 / 960-6000 Email: datenschutz@axovend.com

3. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that your web browser stores on your device. Some cookies are technically necessary for the website to function. Other cookies are used for reach measurement and are only set after your explicit consent (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Technically necessary cookies are set on the basis of Section 25(2) TDDDG. On your first visit, a cookie banner appears that lets you accept or reject optional cookies. As long as you have not given consent, no analytics cookies are loaded (Google Consent Mode v2). You can change your selection at any time via the banner.

4. Server Log Files & Hosting

When visiting our website, information is automatically collected by the server in so-called server log files. This includes: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, stable and functional operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The server log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for this purpose, unless they are exceptionally needed longer to investigate or pursue security incidents. Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. Vercel processes the above data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). For recipients and transfers to third countries, see section 7.

5. Contact Form

If you send us an inquiry via the contact form, we process the data you provide (in particular name, e-mail address, phone number, company and your message) to handle your request. We additionally store the time of your consent and your IP address for evidence and security purposes. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) as well as our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry or the initiation/performance of a contractual relationship (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR). Your inquiry is further processed in our internal customer and inquiry management system (CRM) so that we can handle your request and keep it for follow-up questions. Your IP address is not passed on to third parties. The service providers used for transmission and storage are listed under section 7. We store your data until the purpose of processing no longer applies or your inquiry has been conclusively handled and no statutory retention obligations apply. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

6. Job Applications

If you apply to us via our online application form or by e-mail, we process the personal data you submit (in particular name, contact details, earliest possible start date and salary expectation, your message and the application documents you upload) solely for the purpose of carrying out the application procedure. The legal basis is Section 26(1) BDSG in conjunction with Art. 88 GDPR (processing for employment purposes) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation of an employment relationship). Providing the data is voluntary; however, without the required information and documents we cannot process your application. No automated decision-making takes place. Your application documents are stored with our hosting provider (see section 7); the application is delivered by e-mail via Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online to the responsible office (bewerbung@axovend.com). You also receive an automatic confirmation of receipt at the e-mail address you provided. If no employment relationship is established, we delete your application data no later than six months after completion of the application procedure, unless statutory retention obligations exist or you have consented to longer storage (e.g. for future positions). The six-month retention serves to defend against potential claims under the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG). If an employment relationship is established, your data is transferred to the personnel file.

7. Recipients of Personal Data and Processing on Our Behalf

To provide our website and to process your inquiries and applications, we use carefully selected service providers who process your data exclusively on our behalf and according to our instructions (processing under Art. 28 GDPR): • Hosting & storage: Vercel Inc., Walnut (California), USA — operation of the website and storage of form and application data. • E-mail delivery: Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. / Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft 365, Exchange Online) — sending and receiving contact, application and notification e-mails. • Reach measurement: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC (Google Analytics) — only with your consent (see section 8). Where data is transferred to countries outside the European Union, in particular to the USA, an adequate level of data protection is ensured: Microsoft and Google are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition or otherwise, we have agreed the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR with the providers.

8. Analytics Tools

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyze how you use our website and to help us improve our services. The legal basis for processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you provide via our cookie banner. Without your consent, no analytics data is collected (Google Consent Mode v2). The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there. We have activated IP anonymization, which means your IP address is truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before storage. Transfer to the USA cannot be excluded; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Processed data includes, among other things, anonymized IP address, browser and device information, approximate location (country/region), pages visited, time on page, and referrer URL. We do not merge this data with other sources. Retention period: User data linked to cookies is automatically deleted after 14 months. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by adjusting your selection via the cookie banner. You can contact us at any time regarding this and other questions about data protection. Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you that is based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR.
